As mentioned before, our goal is to breed a healthy Maine Coon with a loving character.

We can achieve a certain “look” quickly if we in- or linebreed, but sadly we are sacrificing character or health. Further side effects of too much inbreeding are fertility problems and problems at birth, to name just a few. This is why we strive for a mixed genepool and try to avoid tight line breeding.

Of course, a cat with an outcrossed pedigree can get ill once in a while. Cats are living creatures! However, we believe that kittens with a strong immunesystem have a better chance of staying healthy.

Our breeding cats are tested for FeLV and FIV. Our breeding cats are also screened for HCM at the appropriate age that is currently the recommended way to identify early warning of most common heart disease in both domestic and pedigree cats. Our kittens come to you at 13 weeks at the earliest.

They will be dewormed, vaccinated against Infectious Enteritis and Respitory Viral Diseases and microchipped.
